Caring for Yourself
SYMPTOMS:
The CDC states that at this time, symptoms of COVID-19 may appear in as few as two days or as long as 14 after exposure. Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases. The CDC reports that symptoms can include:
*Fever
*Cough
*Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
*Chills
*Repeated shaking with chills
*Muscle Pain
*Headache
*Sore Throat
*New loss of taste or smell

If you develop symptoms at any point, STAY HOME and contact your healthcare provider. Do not go directly to your provider's office, but CALL first to report your symptoms.

PRECAUTIONS:
*Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
*Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
*Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
*Stay home when you are sick.
*Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.
*Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
*Practice Social Distancing as much as possible.
*Governor Baker has issued an Order effective Wednesday, May 6 requiring face masks or cloth face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible. This applies to both indoor and outdoor spaces. Exceptions include children under the age of 2 and those unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition. It is critical to emphasize that maintaining 6-feet social distancing remains important to slowing the spread of the virus.
