Superintendent's Welcome

August 2021

Dear Hampshire Regional School District Community:

As your new superintendent, I would like to welcome everyone to the start of the 2021-2022 school year! It’s hard to imagine that in less than three weeks, we will have students standing before us with the excitement and energy that a new school year always brings. It’s wonderful to be welcoming back our students for in-person learning despite still having many Covid-19 health and safety protocols in place. While we would all love a return to normalcy, unfortunately, this will take some time as we strive to keep all students and staff as safe as possible while we acclimate to new variants and ever changing guidance pertaining to the virus.

While the pandemic will continue to challenge us, there is so much to look forward to in the new school year! I’ve spent this summer familiarizing myself with policies, procedures, programming and staffing, yet I am most excited to meet the HRSD community and watch our students learn in the various classroom settings. HRSD staff are creative, engaging, collaborative and passionate, and I look forward to seeing them in action!

This is an incredible school community and I feel blessed to be able to work with the HRSD staff and students. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer, and I look forward to welcoming students back to school on September 1st!

Respectfully,

Diana Bonneville, Ph.D.
